Floyd Piedad has been in the IT industry for over 25 years and currently leads the R&D and special projects division of Stratpoint Technologies, a software services company focused on cloud and mobile solutions. He started his career with IBM and helped create its outsourced services business in Asia Pacific. He later co-founded an Internet services company and a software development business that pioneered the programmable-web space. Floyd is the author of “High Availability: Design, Techniques, and Processes."
